Our Student Health Department is a dedicated to the health and wellbeing of Sorbonne University Students as well as students from partner institutions ( MNHN, Celsa, INSPE, PSPBB).
Our team offers specific one on one consultations promoting health, wellbeing and access to healthcare.
Our services are entirely confidential, free of charge, and open to all. Below is an overview:
1. General and Specialized Health Services
Our services are specifically designed to address physical, emotional, and psychological situations that may hinder your academic success or wellbeing.
Targeted medical and psychological support : Students have access to various specialized consultations with doctors by appointment, including general practice, psychiatry, nutrition, sport and health, sexual and reproductive health (gynaecology, contraception, sexology).
Our goal is to help students manage frequent issues like stress, psychological difficulties and the exhaustion cycle that may lead to academic impact.
Preventive Focus: Preventive medicine includes priority health interviews for first-year students or newly arrived in France. This proactive approach aims to identify and mitigate risks early. Appointments are available throughout the academic year.
Mental Health Support: Psychological support is accessible through one on one consultations with a psychotherapist (with or without appointment). Personalized follow-up are also available throughout the academic year.
Addressing issues like stress, isolation, burnout and sleep imbalance is better done as soon as early signs show up.
• Specific Clinical Services: speech therapy assessments (bilans orthophoniques gratuits) are available by appointment
• Services from nurses, such as health counseling, orientation, emergency contraception, are available without appointment.
2. Accessibility
• Free services: Our services are entirely of free of charge care (soins gratuits), covering medical, preventive, sexual health, and psychiatry consultations.
• Ease of scheduling and location: To ensure wide access, consultations are offered by appointment. Students can book appointments online via Doctolib, which offers flexible scheduling and appointments and remote management.
• Some services are available without appointment (Mental health support on sites)
• Multi-Site Availability: consultations are available on various campuses: Campus des Cordeliers (main address), Jussieu Campus and at other university locations, including facilities at Pôle Santé Clignancourt, and Sorbonne Campus , for better convenience and proximity.
• Extended Hours: Our main location maintains extended hours, generally running from 9 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
3. Our services for Students with Disabilities :
For students with disabilities, wether motor, sensory, psychological or learning disabilities, accessibility is directly integrated trough specialized health consultations to validate the course/exam accommodation ("Aménagements d'Études") process.
• Medical Consultations for course/exam accommodations:
The mandatory process to secure course/exam accommodations (Aménagements d'Études) requires a specific medical consultation once the interview with the disability advisor is completed ( at the Disability and Study department).
Our team acknowledges that the courses and pedagogical content accessibility may represent a significant challenge for some students. Our department is dedicated to specific issues related to learning disabilities among others.

The opening hours are:
Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6:30 pm.
While this is our main address, consultations are also available on various campuses, including Nursing Services available for students from Monday to Friday:
Specifically, Nursing Care Services provide nursing care, general health counseling and emergency contraception.
Nursing Care Services are open and walk in are welcome without appointment during the following hours:
From 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (17h30), Monday through Friday.
The nursing services are located at :
>>Campus Jussieu (Tower 55 - niveau Jussieu), the Pôle Santé Clignancourt (open Wednesday to Friday), and the Sorbonne Infirmary (available Mondays and Tuesdays).
